Established in 1981, the McIntosh Trail Early Childhood Development Council is a nonprofit organization that offers community-based services for children and families. It provides services in Butts, Henry, Lamar, Upson, Newton, Pike and Spalding counties in Georgia. The organization offers the Head Start program for children between the ages of 3 and 5. The McIntosh Trail Early Childhood Development Council provides various services, including the conduction of activities and games, as well as medical and dental care and parent training options. Additionally, its pre-kindergarten services include classes in math, science, art and social competence. The organization also offers services for children with developmental disabilities.
