We enrolled our two small pups ( 3lbs. & 5 lbs.) in the puppy class at Valley View Canine in 2002. They subsequently completed Obedience 1, 2, 3 and Fun & Agility classes.
We were very impresssd with Lynette's knowledge & professionalism. The trainings focused on developing trusting, positive bonds with our dogs. The classes relied on our dogs desire to please us and be praised, rather than looking for treat rewards.
I think throughout the classes we benefited at least as much as our dogs. We learned how to be good, responsible owners and effective trainers.
Our babies both turned 15 this month. Despite their deficits (hearing and vision loss, as well as cognitive decline), they have retained the skills they learned in the Valley View classes.
We feel the strong, rewarding relationships we've enjoyed with our girls can be in large part attributed to the solid foundation we all built through Valley View trainings. Thank you so much!

I met Lynette and crew at the Gresham Saturday Market. I brought my little Kali in and they looked lovingly at me and said "is that a Catahoula?...you are going to need us!" And they were right. Little Kali grew into big strong Kali (in mind and body) and we adore her...but what I love most is that they adore her too! They know her by name and love on her even when she makes mistakes. We have been in class non-stop since last spring completing puppy preschool, adult 1, adult 2 (2x) and now we are conquering the agility course. Phew! You'd think we would have a perfect lil pup!



We also love the food they carry.

I hated my experience there they were constantly week by week changing the time of class and for people who work that is very unreasonable and very unprofessional on their part! Having to adjust work schedules week by week is ridiculous and can make our employers very upset! I will NEVER go back to Valley View Canine this was my first time purchasing training classes and their services was the worst services imaginable! I will not ever recommend this location to anyone who asks me and if asked about this location I will strongly recommend not to ever purchase classes from this location! Our trainer did not guide us at all during our classes and in my opinion she was very rude and it was not a pleasure or good experience working with this trainer she kept repeating through out the six weeks that we should be greatly appreciative that they were able to fit in an extra class that was very rude and unnecessary for her to keep repeating it we all paid 120 dollars for that class they still received their money they should not be throwing it in our face constantly that they made an extra class no they got their money! I will probably never do another training class due to this horrible experience!

I've had and continue to have both of my dogs trained with this amazing group of people. One of my dogs was an "at risk" dog because of his hostile behavior and after a few private lessons with Lynette he was much better and is now a well behaved dog that does their higher end specialty classes with ease.
