General Info
Fatz Cafe, Famous & Fresh! Our World Famous Calabash chicken is synonymous with the Fatz Cafe name. Why? Itâ??s made the Fatz way â?? fresh chicken tenders, buttermilk brined for 24 hours, then hand-breaded with our top-secret peppery seasoning mix and lightly fried to a golden brown. You wonâ??t find a more delicious serving of chicken around. What about the Fresh? Weâ??re talking local and regional ingredients from farms across the Southland. Then we prepare each dish when customers order. And our portions will make you sayâ?¦WOW

Provided by YP.comOn our first visit to this franchise, I ordered the trout dinner, husband ordered the roast beef pot pie. Both delicious. Server, Jessica, was very thorough, even offered me another hot water with lemon, my usual drink. We mentioned a couple minor issues, Manager Rebecca Wilson came to our table and apologized. She comped our meals, gave us peach cobbler for dessert and asked us to return for a dinner on the house!! We returned, Rebecca welcomed and treated us like a favorite aunt and uncle. We ordered the meal of our choice, were given an appetizer, I ordered the Baby back ribs (fall off the bone tender) and house salad (fabulous) and husband ordered Top sirloin and redskin mashed potatoes. Steak was melt in your mouth tender and delicious. Rebecca made sure we were happy, another manager, Tammy, came to our table to be sure all went well, and Jessica welcomed us back. Talk about Southern hospitality! We will definitely return to this Fatz and try others as we travel in the south.

Went there today, service was horrible and it took forever to get two burgers - this was at 4:00 (not exactly a busy time). When they did arrive they were burnt and resembled hockey pucks - and had a wierd charbroiled (gas grill) kind of after taste. I will never go back there - I don't know why people rave about Fatz.
