An air abrasion hand-piece blows a powerful air stream of tiny, fine aluminum oxide particles out of its tip onto tooth structure. Air abrasion uses the kinetic energy principle, in which particles bounce off the tooth and blasts the decay away. We use this advanced technology to allow us to repair small cavities without drills and shots. TMJ The pain from Temporomandibular Joint Disorder, or TMJ, can be excruciating and affects many areas of the body. TMJ can be responsible for bad headaches. If you are having this type of pain, it may be coming from how your teeth bite together. Ask us how we use the latest tools to diagnose this problem. Methods of Anesthesia Laughing Gas: Nitrous oxide sedation will help you relax and keep you comfortable throughout your treatment. Oral Sedation: If needed, you can also take a pill 1 hour prior to your treatment to further relax you. *Headphones are also available for you to listen to your favorite music.
