I would not recommend Maple Grove as a facility for your boved one. Some of the staff is rude and without compassion the residents are not properly cared for.

I looked through many reviews on this facility and I couldn't imagine that it was as bad as I read through the reviews. I applied for a nurse tech position and got the job. After 2 weeks of being employed I saw even worst than what the reviews were.

BE AWARE if you are looking to work here watch out your license is on the line! If you are looking to place a loved one here watch out. I'm not exactly sure how or why the state hasn't come in and shut this place down. CNA's to resident ratio is outrageous but thanks to North Carolina lack of laws this is allowed. CNAs are trained or hold cpr,bls,or first aid. Not one time was I shown where a defibrillator was located. My tb test wasn't checked in a timely manner my finger print card due to me not living in NC for five years wasn't placed on there files.

I watched the administrator yell at a family and blame the family for a residents condition and refuse to call an ambulance of the resident who appeared to have suffered from another stroke that went unreported for days. The fire safety equipment didn't work properly and half of the facility didn't even hear the fire alarms because they weren't in working order. Also there policy when there is a fire is for all staff member to leave residents behind and head towards the fire. I'm not sure how this isn't abandonment. They state the goal is to get out as many residents possible so we start with those who can walk however none of the residents are equipped with walkers. Charting is done inaccurately just out of time constraints and to get your work chores done. The list continues but I think this paints a decent picture. Be aware be alert.

I went there for employment, and I was shocked on how rude every one was and how uninformed they were about the hiring process or Basic questions. Very untimely I waited two hours for a five minute interview. I was told that if I covered my tattoos I was hired. I spent 45 dollars on water proof make up and returned they still said no. Then called me and offered me the job again. I went and did the interview process again and they still said No. Just very unprofessional and dishonest. And finally they didn't return my letter of recommendation which was written by a very influential person.Which damaged me even more. I'm very displeased with those inadequate people.
