Heritage In Home Care Services is a locally owned, licensed, non-medical, in home care company. For almost a decade, Heritage In Home Care has been servicing clients in both Pennsylvania and Maryland. Heritage in Home Care provides services which enable older adults to stay in their homes rather than moving to an Assisted Living Facility or Nursing Home. Our Services Personal Care Our well-trained staff will assist, cue and encourage bathing and personal hygiene as needed. Dressing assistance, continence care, transferring' and ambulation are all part of our personal care program Transportation Getting to medical appointments is necessary and sometimes difficult for clients and family members. Our staff will help coordinate transportation to medical and non-medical appointments. If the client does not own a vehicle, transportation will be provided by the caregiver. Medical Appointment Escort A caregiver will escort clients to medical appointments when this assistance is needed to ensure the safety and well-being of the client. Medications Heritage staff can provide monitoring and reminders for pre-poured medications. At special request and on a per visit charge, our licensed nurses can provide bi-weekly, medication planner set-ups. Errands and Transportation Heritage will transport clients to personal appointments which could include, medical, business, hair, etc. Heritage can also provide transportation for personal shopping. If the client does not own a vehicle, transportation will be provided by the caregiver. Meal Planning and Preparation Heritage caregivers can assist with the preparation of meals. They can also assist clients with grocery shopping and meal planning. A healthy diet and hydration is key to health for our clients and is encouraged by our caregivers. In-Home Companionship Heritage staff encourages friendly conversation, taking walks, assisting with hobbies and special projects. When clients are isolated, feeling lonely or depressed, our caring staff can provide the needed socialization and attention. Respite Services & 24 Hour Care Heritage can provide respite services on a short-term basis. When family caregivers need a break, Heritage staff can offer the support to give family caregivers "time off" knowing their loved one's needs are being met. Heritage can provide round-the-clock, 24-hour care in the client's home when necessary. Nursing Consultations In order to fully understand the client's needs, a free, in-home visit will be made to determine how best to meet those needs. Once services begin, a Heritage nurse will follow-up as needed or every 90 days at no cost. Home Modifications Heritage can provide home modifications necessary to ensure the client has the ability to be as independent as possible within their own home. Modifications such as hand railings, wheelchair ramps, bathroom safety devices can be installed. A free, in-home consultation and estimate will be provided by our licensed contractor.
