Highland Rim Speedway is a track rich in history. A group of neighbors joined forces in the early 1960s to build a racetrack. In the spring of 1962, the first cars competed on the high banked quarter mile dirt track. In 1969, the high banked dirt was paved and quickly became fastest high banked asphalt track in the region. Highland Rim is now a high banked “D” shaped asphalt track. The Thunder rolls at the Rim every Saturday night from March to November. The Highland Rim Kids Zone is a club especially for the children that love auto racing and want to have fun when they come to the race track. 2015: Pit Gates Open 12:00 pm - Grandstands 4:00 pm - Racing Begins 7:00 pm, please visit website to see schedule, dates and times may varies
