The DENT-ist was founded by Steve Montoya with four main objectives in mind superior client services, high quality workmanship, job skill diversity, client guidance, and friendliness.Steve has more than 37 years of diverse automotive reconditioning and collision repair history. His combination of education, experience, and years of servicing clients successfully has provided The DENT-ist with the leading edge it exhibits and renders to each client.The DENT-ist is a paintless dent repair company with full collision repair capabilities, serving the Greeley, Loveland, Ft. Collins, Colorado and surrounding areas with paintless dent repair and collision repair work.I have been in the automotive business since 1983, I received an Associates of Applied Science Degree in auto body repair and refinishing from Aims Community College in Greeley, Colorado. I finished at the top of my class then started my career at a local dealership. After quite a few years made a move to assistant manager at a Loveland collision repair center. After a few years as assistant manager I was offered a manager position at the local GM dealership collision center. During this time I managed to learn the paintless dent repair process and now have more than 14 years of experience.I am I-CAR platinum certified and will continue my training in paintless dent repair and collision repair for years to come.Paintless Dent Repair is the technique in which minor dents and door dings can be removed without compromising the original painted surfaces of your vehicle. There is an affordable alternative to accepting the fact that your vehicle has an unsightly ding or dent.The PDR process was developed for the non-collision type damage typical of door dings shopping cart dents, fallen tree limbs, etc- and hail damage. In some cases we can remove large dents or make them less of an eye sore plus we can also remove dents from plastic bumper covers.The DENT-ist technique is a refined craft where dents are skillfully removed rather than covered up with filler & then painted. Utilizing special tools the technician massages the dent out of the metal by applying strategic pressure and leverage from behind the damaged panel, and when unable to access the backside of the panel we have special techniques that are used to remove the dent.We DO NOT!
