- Parasites Treatment and ControlWith all of your pets that are staying with us it is important that we protect your pet, as well as all of the other pets staying with us, from different types of diseases. This means that we require vaccines as well as fecal exams to check for intestinal parasites. The following dog vaccines are required to stay at our facility: Distemper Combination, Rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough), Leptospirosis and Canine Influenza. Cats require the upper respiratory combination (FVRCP) as well as a rabies vaccination. These vaccines help your pet to have an immunity against transmittable diseases, as well as keep you and our staff safe from diseases that are transmittable to humans. Some of these vaccines require a booster series if your pet has never received them. Please call the office to have specific questions about your pet answered.
