Bought a Groupon for this gym. I have had one great experience with indoor rock climbing at another location. This place was so disappointing and dangerous. The two boys at the front were incredibly immature and disrespectful. One person in front of us has filled out her info on the computer and it was still pending. We had two consents to sign and the computers were frozen. We asked what we needed to do. One guy said just wait. So we did, for 20 minutes while these two boys discussed an incident that just happened on the climbing ladders. We should have turned away then. More people came in and the boys started helping them by filling out their consent forms on paper and completely ignoring us. Yet again, they turn around and start talking about the incident. My husband stepping in and asked if we could be helped since we have patiently been waiting for 20 minutes. He replied with a sarcastic " Sure. We were discussing a very serious incident that needed to be dealt with. " After finally being set up, I understood why these incidents kept happening. They gave us the worst instructions. He took us to a wall, told us how to belay and that was it. No information on the ladder, which I had never used and coincidentally where these incidents kept reoccurring as the day went on. Nothing on the boulder climbing where smaller kids were hanging out and attempting with no spotter. There were too many people climbing and they gave us no instructions on how close is too close since there were belay set ups right next to each other. I got kicked in the head by a girl while she was descending. Just ridiculous and very unsafe. You get a room full of novice people that are excited to climb and sent out there like a pack of untrained monkeys you are asking for a dangerous situation. I will never return and I hope this business starts making safety a priority until someone really gets hurt.

Awesome place for your whole family! Adults will enjoy the "18 and up" area for more difficult climbing, while the rest of the family climbs on the easier walls. Our 9 year old boy and 8 year old girl love the assistance they are given by the staff. Best place to climb in DFW!

i have been climbing here since my younger brother had his 9th birthday party here. i have always enjoyed climbing here i feel safe and it always feels clean. out of all the gyms that i climbed in summit has the best atmosphere. it is never to crowded to have a good time and you never have to wait more that the person that is climbing. all in all the parties are great for all ages and it is always a fun and save atmosphere.
