Managers / office personnel reasonable until time for you to move. If you tell them on the phone that you will be moving out, they will say ok. If you tell them while you are standing in the office that you are giving them 2 months notice, they will say ok. BUT !! When you say, " I told you two months ago that I was moving and you said OK"



Then the office says NO! you owe us two months rent because you did not put it in writing! So RENTERS beware!

The office will tell you OK to your face but if it isn't in writing, they will say "well, people tell us they're moving all the time." This apartment complex will NOT accept any verbal exchange as proof of anything. Stains on carpet when you move in? GET IT IN WRITING. Or your deposit is lost.



However, if you go to office and argue, they will reduce the two months to one month.
