- Primary CareChildren with multiple chronic health conditions and their families face unique challenges within the medical system. Rebekah ZamZam and Krystal LaLonde are certified complex care coordinators who facilitate communication between the family, the hospital, multiple specialists, home health services and their primary care physician. They work as advocates for children with their insurance company should there be difficulty obtaining the services they need. With their extensive experience they are able to help guide families through the complicated process of raising and caring for children with special needs.

- Emergency CareOne of our pediatricians is always on call. If the nurse feels your child needs to go to the emergency room, he/she will talk to our pediatrician on call.
- ElectrocardiogramReferrals for ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) and other types of imaging tests/studies will be sent to the radiology department at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH). Referrals for EKGs are sent to Fred and Lena Mejier Heart Center. Someone from Spectrum Health will contact you to schedule an appointment. If the test is urgent, we will take care of the referral at the time of your child’s visit.
- ImmunizationsIf a relative or babysitter brings your child to the office for treatment, please have them bring a written Authorization for Treatment form signed by you, as parent or legal guardian. Or you may provide a written letter giving treatment authorization. This letter must be dated and witnessed by another adult. Please note that a parent must be present for immunization to be given unless an authorization for treatment form is signed.
- Labor and DeliveryShar is our lactation consultant, assisting new moms with breastfeeding. She has a bachelor's degree in nursing and worked in the birthing centers at both Metro Health and Spectrum Health. She is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Certified Childbirth Educator. Shar also taught childbirth classes at Spectrum Health.
- NephrologyKrystal received her BS in Health Studies and Psychology from Michigan State University, and her BSN through Grand Valley State University. Krystal worked on a pediatric progressive unit specialized in cardiology, nephrology, and burns prior to coming to Forest Hills Pediatrics. Krystal lives in Hamilton, MI with her husband and 2 boys.

- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)The first visit is with our ADHD care coordinator, Tonya Primeau, RN, and your child does not need to be present.
