This place isn't a shadow of what the Adobe used to be (for us longtime Grand Rapidians who remember the original Adobe on West Fulton). Went there tonight for the first time in a while - the formerly-great Spanish rice is now half cooked, hard white rice drowning in tomato juice. Chips were stale. Ordered chips and cheese and got a sandwich baggie of chips with a tiny take-out cup of liquid cheese spread. Food was cold. What a disappointment.

My favorite Mexican restaurant bar none!!!! Best enchiladas in town far as I'm concerned and the rest of the menu is just as good (I've tried almost everything on the menu after manyyyyyyy years going there) Nice atmosphere and good service.....reasonalbe....lunch specials are 4.95 which includes an entree, a medium drink and a bag of their delicious chips.....can't hardley beat it!! :)
