The Mesa County Health department is a county government agency for Mesa County in Colorado. The department offers free and low-cost health clinics and nursing services to residents of all ages and income in the county. It also offers services provided by environmental health and vital statistics specialists. All of the department s services are available at its main office in Grand Junction, Colo. The Mesa County Health Department also provides supplementary services from offices in Clifton, Fruita, Palisade, and Collbran, Colo. The department is governed by a board of health and five directors that oversee divisions within the department. Mesa County is located in western Colorado and has a population of more than 115,000 residents.
