I really like how clean, safe, and experienced Grand Valley Childcare Center is.

The amount of care provided by the director is not worth the amount of money (up wards of 35) she charges daily.

I feel that this used to be a wonderful childcare facility, however the overall atmosphere has changed from a center that cared about each and every child to a center that is mainly focused on the business aspects and bringing in money. The staff was constantly changing due to management conflicts. It is a shame as there are not many childcare facilities in the valley to choose from however, I would advise looking elsewhere for care.

This is the best childcare facility in the Grand Junction area. I love having my child here. The staff is amazing, I couldn't ask for anything better :)

This is the best infant/toddler care around. I wouldn't even look for another place. It is clean and the staff is highly experienced.

My grandson went here when he was 3 months until he was 18 months. my daughter and her husband were extremely happy with the care my grandson recieved. Roberta and her staff were wonderful our little guy was given love and attention. he thrived at the center, We would have loved for him to stay but they are for infants only. Roberta often spoke of expanding when she does we will be joining her. If you have an infant don't waste your time looking elsewhere nothing compares to Grand Valley Childcare.

I have been extremely satisfied with the level of personal attention and care my son has received at Grand Valley Child Care. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and caring. They welcome drop-ins. Every time I come, my son is getting individual attention. When I ask the staff to focus on a particular skill that my son is learning, they go out of their way to encourage his growth. In addition to developmental skills, the staff reads and completes art projects with the children. The facility is clean and organized. Each time that I drop in, all the children are under supervision and usually the ratio is 1 to 3. My child is frequently changed and is always fed on demand. I was nervous about leaving my son in someone else's care. My husband and I are very happy. When my son is at Grand Valley Child Care I feel secure knowing my son is in good, capable, knowledgeable and compassionate hands.

I've had my 18 month old son in this day care facilty since June, 2008 and have NEVER seen any abuse or neglect from this facility or it's caregivers. I'm a CPA and my husband is a banker and are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to be able to provide in-home care for our child but choose to take him to this center. The caregivers have been extremely attentive to him and his needs as well as very accomodating to our requests whether it be food/feeding related, sleeping related or activities related. My husband or I often pay daily, unannounced visits to the center and have only witnessed loving care of ALL the children at the facility when we arrive. We are, and have been for over 15 months, VERY happy with the care he has received there. We are currently expecting our second child and have already requested a space be held for that child when he is ready to begin day care. I would highly recommend this center to anyone and have!

Since day one I have been EXTREMELY please with the service my family has received. I felt so safe with my child there that when I found out I was pregnant with #2, I quickly put her on the waiting list. She has been there since she was 6 weeks & again, OUTSTANDING service. Unfortunately they are unable to take kiddos past the 18 mos mark, otherwise I would keep my children there until it was time for school. The staff is unbelievably kind, loving & have taken terrific care of my kids. Never have I worried about their well being while they are there. Reports are given at the end of each day detailing what they ate, how long they slept & when they were changed. When they do go outside, one of the employees is always in the building if there is a child in there. I know this because you are allowed to stop by whenever during the day to see your little one & I have done so mult times & NEVER seen a child alone in the building. The center spoils you & your kids. No other like it!

I have had my child in this day care from 6 weeks old until 16 months old. They took very good of my child. The only reason I moved him is because they only keep babies until they are 18 months old. If we ever have another baby, we will use them again.

Do NOT use this facility. I had my child in this center for 3 days and had to pull him out due to the poor lack of care he received (i.e. not fed, no diaper changing, appeared to have been left in the swing, left inside by himself with no adult supervision while everyone else was outside-that was the last straw). I have filed a complaint with the state licensing board.
