I have lived in grand junction for two years now and all of my auto work is done by Rick Mabrey. He has allways been compleetly honest with me about repairs on my vehicles. I have had valve cover gasket and tune up on my wifes car, i have had shocks, breaks, oil presure sensor, radiator and other misc stuf done to my truck, as well as a powersteereing pump and lines on another vehical of mine. i have not had any trouble with any of the repairs. Knowing Rick personaly i can vouch for the fact that he is an honest business owner, and a good friend.

New trannsmission - but failed to bolt on my ball joints. Front end folded under car during a low speed turn a few weeks later. Good thing I wasn't on I70. They agreed to fix, and promised to use the same grade of parts as were in there (they didn't). In a moment of extreme poor judgment on my part, I asked them to do some additional work while it was in there. The brand new P/S failed 2 weeks later. They promised and charged me for a Napa pump, but actually installed bottom of the line Auto Zone. New timing chain, but curiously all my plug wires came back destroyed and full of black grease - 1 week late. Who wants to bet they were off a tooth or two on their first guess? Less than 1k miles later, my engine knocks loud enough to hear a few blocks away. While in there diagnosing, I found misplaced brackets and other signs of hurried and shoddy workmanship. These 3.8 engines never fail at the lower engine. Oil was always clean and pressure was great. $3500 later, it's a junker.
