We had a virus, took the computer to a big chain with computer help. They tried to get the virus off and then said that our hard drive was corrupted and that the whole thing was a loss. We took it to Alpine hoping they could at least recover the data for us so we could transfer it onto a new computer. They recovered everything and got the computer working again. The hard drive had not really failed, and everything was still there. They also cleaned it up and sped it up so that it was running much better than it ever has. And set us up with a backup system so that we wouldn't be in danger of losing things again. All for less than the original place charged us for NOT fixing the computer in the first place. These guys know what they're doing and are honest about it.
