Have been loyal customer for over five years, but can no longer afford him. He does good work but is really expensive. Always quotes highest possible price. Every time we brought in my car or my wife's in it was always over $1,000 repair bill. Actually, I exaggerate, it wasn't always $1,000+ and few times it was over $2,000. Highly recommended if money is no object, but money is tight right now and I am looking for an honest mechanic that offers a sensible range of choices rather than a single option with the highest possible price.

Rick was so amazing to me. I had just bought my roommate's car before coming to LA and about a month after getting here, the (manual) transmission went out. Rick was recommended to me by a friend of a friend who is a car club guy. I took my Saturn into him and he got back to me within 24 hours with a diagnostic and my options. I needed to get a whole new transmission. He worked with me on getting a rebuilt instead of a new one and helped me cut costs where ever we could. Everyone who worked there was so helpful and friendly and compassionate.I am now living in West LA but I would still take my car into him for any major repair I needed.
