I had recently been diagnosed with Hyperthyroid (aka Graves Disease) before I went to go see Dr. Marc. I could not sleep for more than two hours at a time, my resting heart rate was over a hundred and at risk for a heart attack. I have had migraines since I was 10 year old. Dr. Marc was the first and only doctor who offered me any hope besides the usual approach for treating my condition which was to kill my thyroid with radiation and then put me on hypothyroid meds for the rest of my life. After two months of upper cervical chiropractic care nothing had changed for my thyroid symptoms however, I didn't have single migraine since the second week of care and that was good enough for me to continue the care program. After month three I slept through the night for the first time in over a year and every month after that for the next six months while I was under care with Dr. Marc every thyroid test came back with results saying my thyroid was functioning in a normal range.

I had fibromyalgia for 24 years and I had been two three different chiropractors before I went to see Dr. Marc. However, I had never been to an upper cervical chiropractor before. With every visit the pain would slowly disappear starting with the shooting pain in between my shoulder blades, then the arms felt better, a month later the pain in my hips were gone and the last thing to disappear was the pain in my heels and ankles. The one thing that I never anticipated going away was the pain in my right shoulder. I had two surgeries on my right shoulder and the pain never went away until I started care with Dr. Marc. Dr. Marc DeMeester is always pleasant and easy to talk to. Before I cam to see him I was suffering with hypothyroid problem, migraines, and my legs always felt heavy and sometimes painful. I thought I had seen everyone there was to see for my problem with very little improvement. I figured I had nothing to lose so tried Upper Cervical chiropractic with Dr. Marc. Slowly over the course of 6 months the migraines became less frequent, the pain and heaviness of my legs disappeared and I am off my medications.
