The Gloversville Sewing Center opened the doors in August 1981. In the years that followed we moved, expanded, bought the property next store and expanded again. Our store is filled with products to make your sewing easier and more fun. Every room tells a story and has it s purpose. We are the area s largest sewing machine dealership. We service all brands and are a service center for many dealers across the country for Bernina machines. All machines are done in house. We rarely send a machine back to the manufacturer. With over 6000 bolts we are also the largest quilt shop. We carry all the major fabric lines; and if you want a certain style of fabric, chances are we have plenty to choose from. Our mission has been to provide a friendly and helpful atmosphere for our customers. We take pride in being experts in our field and imparting that knowledge to our customers.
