Chef Lomanto catered our family reunion last week. The food was delicious, prepared on time, and was the perfect amount. Chef Lomanto took the time to sit down with me to plan what food and how much (this was my first time planning an event this size). We ended up with enough for everyone to feel full without having way too much food left over. Without a doubt I will use him for future events.

While driving through Gloversville on a rainy, dreary day, my friend and I decided to stop somewhere for lunch. Chef Lomato's Kitchen looked like a homey place to stop and so we did. And boy were we glad we did. Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices make this restaurant quite outstanding. After a wonderful meal I purchased a couple of loaves of stuffed breads to go and served them to party guests...what a hit! Can't wait to go back.

Chef John is a CIA educated master of fine cuisine. Don't let the humble surrounds distract you you come here for food. Great food and plenty of it. The Chef and his family, and extended family treat you like you are eating at the family table. Ask too many questions and you might end up getting a cooking class John has taken me back in the kitchen several times to show how todays masterpieces were/are being created. A nice place to stop and enjoy.

very tasty, hearty cuisine and wonderful, friendly service. the prices were very reasonable (the priciest entree was $14) and the portions were generous. there are also pizzas, soups, paninis, other sandwiches, and even marinated olives for sale by the pound (with free samples! :)). there is no wine list, but BYOB is encouraged with NO corkage fee. this isn't the prettiest restaurant in town, but you can't go wrong here if you like good Italian food.
