I would not reccommend Applebees in Gloucster VA to any of my friends. Walking in with my family there were plenty of tables up front and they proceeded to make us sit in the back near the restroom. On top of that walking out of the restroom the waitress hit my daughter with the door and I had to ask her, was she going to apologize. Thy acted as if we weren't there once we were seated, it took 10 minutes before taking our drink order, there were 2 tables full and a host of waitresses. They just walked back and forth, not asking were we ready to order, 15 minutes later they asked were we ready to order. After, seeing how nice they were to the other 2 tables and how they treated us was very poor service. Working in customer service for several years I know good service from bad service. After, we finally recieved our food and my 2 year old recieving a burnt cheeseburger she proceeded to just eat what I had which was shrimp alfredo. My glass needed a refill when they gave us our food but they never asked did I need a refill until I was done with my food. Then they asked did we want dessert we responded no and they put the tab on the table. I have eaten at a lot of diffrent applebee's neveer have I recieved such poor service. Tappahanock food is way better and the have a awesome team. After all taken my mother nd daughteer out for dinner trying to have a good time only to be treated as if we were nothing really bothered me.. Not once did we complain we just paid and left. Never again will I visit them again either my mother left very upset..
