General Info
The drive-in theatre experience first came to light on June 6, 1933. That was the day Mr. Richard Hollingshead, opened the first drive-in theater in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey. A few others quickly followed but the trend only truly took off with the advent of in-car speakers in the 1940s. Families still flock to our drive-ins for great entertainment at an incredible value. But when you come to a West Wind Drive-In youâ??ll experience more than just a great movie. Youâ??ll experience the drive-in â?? a unique and historic slice of Americana.

as far as the drive-ins go i would say they arent all that great. the place is a mess!! the food is gross although you can bring your own, the employees are dirty looking and rude most of them with no high school education they have given me the wrong change back to many times, and i would not allow my kids to run around there at all. i have been watching movies and have heard gun shots near by and find this to be a terrible place to take the family or even friends. i would rather pay the 9 dollars to see a movie inside and buy my own food. at least then i know my kids, friends, and family are coming home safely with me. remember my personal opinion but i do not think this place is well maintained or managed!
This is a great way for families to enjoy a night out and a movie. They feature the newest releases. The prices are reasonable and you can bring in your own food. I wouldn't recommend going during the hot summer months, but the rest of the year it is great.
