Mission Our mission is to provide a full range of outpatient family services from a Christian perspective and employ well trained clinical specialists within a wide range of treatment areas. We serve as a resource to churches, physicians, attorneys, educators and business leaders. History Starting in 1969 Mike served in civilian and military mental health organizations with extensive experience in both outpatient and inpatient treatment facilities. Christian Counseling Associates, Inc. was founded as a division of Resource Guidance Services, Inc. by Michael P. Flynn, LCSW, BCD, TRX in 1983. In 2014, we achieved a milestone. We launched a new division: RVA4 Fitness combining physical fitness with emotional well-being and relationship fitness. www.RVA4Fitness.com Training CCA provides training and supervision for interns and residents from Virginia Commonwealth University, Liberty University, Regent University, Capella University and South University. CCA has trained over 250 interns and residents. This enables us to provide some services at a reduced fee rate for people with limited or no insurance coverage. It also keeps us current in the latest treatment theories and therapeutic modalities.
