General Info: Riverview Farms purchased the Funk orchard off of Old Maids Lane in South Glastonbury in 1977. In a need to market our apples we began renting the Old Cider Mill on Main street in South Glastonbury. Bill Dufford is a kid at heart and added fun things to do along with the apple and cider sales. The Fall events grew to include a petting zoo, hay rides, face painting, birthday parties, tours, and baby chicks to hold plus a 24' Pumpkin Bounce! After 16 years renting the Mill, the lease was not awarded to Riverview Farms and we looked for another venue for our sales and to continue to offer our customers the fall traditions we are known for.
