Dr. Chakravarti and his staff were fine and friendly.
Dr. Chakravarti has retired and a new dentist is taking over his office.
A letter was sent out to Dr. Chakravarti's patients informing them of this, but it was incorrect in stating that the new dentist will take over the whole practice and all the patients. They are no longer accepting certain insurances which will now leave people, like me, who thought they had a dentist without one and scrambling to find one. This transition/retirement should have been handled better. The new dentist should have mailed out letters to the patients he wasn't going to accept if Dr. Chakravarti didn't know he was going to refuse to see certain people - if Dr. Chakravarti knew, then shame on him, his letter to his patients should have stated the new office insurance policy.
The new office staff is not friendly and have no phone manners, they do not return calls. I had to call five days after I left a message because apparently no one at the office could be bothered to return a phone call.
I would recommend going elsewhere to find the same service you got from Dr. Chakravarti.
