A family member of mine that was having a hard time stayed here for a few months. The unit is smaller and not 100% up to date but it is comfortable and gets the job done. Neighbors (also long term stayers) never bothered anybody and were friendly. My family member had trouble with paying rent so I went in myself, paid and met with the owners (husband & wife) and they were very friendly. Some reviews say they are rude, but from what I've seen, they are just business owners that are protecting their property. Decent place, not a Hilton, but it's Gillette, Wyoming.. it works!

this is one of the worst motels to stay at. It's run by a man and his wife who are possibly a pair of the rudest people ive ever encountered. it's over priced, half the appliances dont work it the shoebox-like rooms, the shower is a joke, ROACHES IN THE BATHROOM, and the water smells like methane coming out of the pipes. take my advice, spend the few extra bucks to get a decent place and don't waste your money on the sunset inn and it's rip off owners
