When they 1st started at this ...

When they 1st started at this office a year ago. They called my son a she which told me they didn't even read his chart before seeing him. Then I was concerned about him having autism, and the doctor looked at me like I was crazy and said the reason my 20 month old wasn't saying any words was because he was still drinking a bottle. Then 2 months later I took my son in for an appointment a week later I took him in for a wic appointment and the lady that does the weight and checks the blood asked me if he had any medical conditions. I said no not that I know of. Come to fine out my son was extreamely anemic and because he was so pale is why she asked if he had any medical problems. How is it that the wic office catches this, and his ped doesn't. They determined that his anemia was an on going thing because of his diet (he was a very picky eater, and come to find out later it was because of his autism that he is so picky). Anyways moving on to my daughter. She got a UTI, and it took me 2 days of calling the office multiple times and telling them to send her prescription before they FINALLY called the pharmacy to give them her prescription because the faxes they were sending weren't going through. Then 2 weeks ago my daughter just turned 5 and at the last office they went to before we moved you had to call in and make an appointment for their well check ups. Well this one called me on Thurday at 10am to tell me she had an appoinment at 9am on Friday. That was less that 24 hours notice that she had an appointment that they never told me about! When I told her this was the 1st time I had heard she had an appointment they told me well that is how we do it here. Really you give people less than 24 hours notice all the time? Well at that appointment they made another appointment to come back in 2 weeks (today) for her to get her shots and vision test redone. I take her in today, and when the nurse comes in she says that my daughter doesn't need any shots which I thought was weird because that is the main reason I was coming in so she would have her shots and I could register her for school next month. When I checked her in I requested a copy of her shot records so I could register her for school. So the nurse leaves and while I am waiting I look over her shot records, and notice that it says she got a shot 2 weeks ago that she never got. When the doctor comes in she asks me how to pronounce my son's name. I was like umm Riley, and then she says is he being seen today? I said no just my daughter at that point she realizes she has the wrong paperwork. (by the way the only other people in the office were black so I am not sure how she mixed that one up) I also tell her that my daughter never received the shot that was listed on her records, and she says she will go check it out. She comes back and said that it some how got marked off that it was given, and not changed in the paperwork (gee glad I caught that one) and that the nurse would be in to give my daughter her shot shortly. Well the nurse comes back in, and tells me that they are all out of the other half of the vaccine that they need to mix it with, and she will have to come back to get it. To just make sure I bring her back in before school starts to get it. I had to request that they call me when they get it in so I can register her for school.

Unprofessional/rude office staff

The office staff are VERY rude and unprofessional. Lost my son paperwork twice & and I'm currently contacting the state to see if the last three appointments have been billed to the state. If so, then I believe there's some type of fraud going on.
