I am an independent auctioneer who consigns to Briggs Auction regularly because, in my opinion based on years of experience, Briggs gets the best money for the items I consign, as compared to other auction houses in the area. A great example is an Art Nouveau pipe I consigned that brought over $300! I have also seen pieces of art and furniture sell for over $100,000.00 EACH!!! I used Briggs Auction to liquidate the remainder of my mother's estate when she passed in 2011, and was VERY pleased with the result. Bottom line: I STRONGLY recommend using Briggs Auction to sell whatever you need to sell!

This was far from the truth and we had a terrible outcome. We had to pull own items due to the terrible experience on pricing. Items when for next to nothing, especially furniture. It was from the 40's and 50's and was in excellent condition but most went for $1.00 to $5.00. how disappointing We felt betrayed. Wrote about our disappointment and anger to the powers that be but no response. Only two types of persons are at auction,in our opinion, unlucky sellers and lucky buyers. Will never choose to use this again! I let my mother and my family down and I am so sorry for that.
