We recently moved from the S Bay area and were looking for Honey Walnut Prawns like we had at out favorite Chinese restaurant there. Hunan House surpassed our expectations. Theirs are GREAT. We also love their House Chow Mein and Sweet and Sour Pork. The servers area very friendly and service is very fast.

I'm currently working in galt and saw this place. Chinese food and sushi? Awesome. I walked in an the staff just kind of looked at me until a bus boy finally took me to a seat. I ordered the rainbow roll and the waitress seemed like she didn't know what I was talking about and chicken broccoli lunch with fried rice. The food isn't take long but it came out with steamed rice. I definitely recommend the food if you don't mind feeling unwelcome.

The food is pretty good...the service is horrible and the eating area isn't very nice. The waitresses are so rude...never greet you or say thank you. My husband and I waited over 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence. They weren't that busy either. When the waitress came she never said "sorry for the wait" or anything like that. The food is good but the service and atmosphere (seems really old) make me not want to go there.

One unhappy customer! I go out to eat at least 2-3 times per week. I am very BIG on customer service. I have eaten here @ least once a week for the past several months and I have had it with the service. You say “thank you” and you never get your “welcome” and the Mongolian BBQ cook is not nice at all. Today’s service was the icing on the cake I will never being going back to this restaurant. I will let all my family and friends know to never eat here. No drink order was taking until we asked for tea and a soda. When we asked for menus they threw them on the table. After asking several times to turn on the TV with no response we gave up. Then another customer walked in and asked to turn on the TV and they did it with our hesitation. Never again will I go here. If you are looking for good customer service this is not a place for you. I considered the service mediocre before but now after today they have graduated to horrible.

Best Chinese food I have ever had. Very friendly waitors/waitress'. Sweet & sour pork and chicken chow mein are great same with the mongolian BBQ

We found this restaurant a few years ago through a buy one get one free coupon they had in the entertainment book. It has become our favorite chinese restaurant ever since. We recommend the sweet and sour pork, sesame chicken and bbq pork chow mein. My 7 year olds favorite are the pot stickers, my 4 year olds favorite shrimp and vegetables and my 5 year olds favorite is the won ton soup.
