Darby Woods Elementary School, located in Galloway, Ohio, is part of South-Western City School District. It enrolls more than 550 students in kindergarten through grade four. In addition to regular teachers, the school provides special education teachers and a speech therapist to serve students with special needs. An intervention specialist, with expertise in helping children with reading difficulties, addresses the needs of students who need extra help in academic areas. A guidance counselor assists students and families with social and emotional issues that impact learning. The subjects cover core curricular areas, including English, science, mathematics and social science.
