Nestled on 172 acres of fields and woodlands in Gales Ferry, Conn., Mystic Valley Hunt Club has been serving recreational and serious competitive riders since 1983. Our family owned and operated facility is the largest in Southeastern Connecticut. Our facilities include two indoor arenas - one with "no-freeze" winter footing - and four outdoor sand arenas, one grass hunt course and a two-level, cross-country course. Our 60 stalls are all equipped with fire alarms and sprinkler systems. Riders competing in shows hosted at Mystic Valley Hunt Club gain points based on placement in the identified Divisions and Classes. Points are tallied over the course of the show season and are awarded ONLY for competitions at Mystic Valley Hunt Club. We also offer a summer day camp designed to teach girls and boys ages 7 to 16, whether they are a beginner, intermediate or advanced rider.
