Fields Road Elementary School, located in Gaithersburg, Md., is a coeducational institution that teaches more than 450 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Its staff includes a media specialist, guidance counselor, school nurse, physical education instructor, teaching assistant, student coordinator, and art and music professional. Fields Road Elementary School s facilities include a gymnasium, library media center, sports field, cafeteria, parent resource center and auditorium. The school organizes various cocurricular activities, such as field trips, family nights, fall festivals, picture days, and chorus and instrumental music concerts. Established in 1973, Fields Road Elementary School is administered by Montgomery County Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in the United States with nearly 135,000 students enrolled in over 195 educational institutions.
