Extremely Disappointed. After 2.5yrs we will not be going back due to the level of disrespect the Admin at the Gainesville branch has shown us. Their child care provider has a serious attitude and the instructors are scolded when offering additional help to children with special needs or leaning disabilities - which was one of the reasons we chose this particular place. They hook you with a free/cheap trial then set your kids up for disappointment with inflated Black Belt graduation fees. We will miss the instructors at the Gainesville branch but we certainly will not miss the lack of respect from the other staff members.

First of all, this is the most expensive program around. Ask yourself before signing this ridiculous contract if it's really worth it. My son has flat feet, I had no idea this would be a problem. He later complained of leg pain so I stopped taking him. According to Global Financial, having flat feet is a "pre-existing condition". I'm actually thinking about consulting an attorney over this just out of principle. Bottom line - I should have listened to my gut when dealing with their "salesman" who lied to get me to sign. Never again. There are several Tae Kwon Do places much cheaper in the Gainesville, VA area. Don't bother with this one. If they also make you sign an agreement, why bother. Having to sign a contract you can't get out of no matter what happens to you, including a financial problem, should not be normal practice. These are kids and it's supposed to be fun. This experience turned into a nightmare for us. Shame on Jason Yi's and Global Financial.

My girls' journeys to black belt started with a birthday party. I signed them up for a week to "try it out" and we have not looked back. They are graduating to become green belts next week, and can't wait. Their self esteem has grown exponentially since starting. Last but not least, I can't say enough about the instructors...they are FANTASTIC! They are all very patient with the kids and the kids love them because they make learning fun. They get 5 stars from our family and I have and will continue to recommend Jason Yi's to my friends and family!
