I do business at the Freeland Michigan post office six days a week (every day they're open). Each clerk is professional, efficient, and always willing to answer questions and help with individual customer needs. I am a retired person, working from home now. I couldn't do my business without the support of this USPS staff. I have never witnessed any unkind, unpleasant, or otherwise negative transaction at the Freeland post office. I rely on their expertise, and I sincerely appreciate their kindness and respect. Signed, a very happy customer :)

Recently moved to this town, and This place is awful and I will NEVER go here again... The man that works at the counter here is a rude JERK! He was demanding to know whats in my packages, and not asking me " anything liquid, perishable, or hazardous. He was feeling all of my envelopes and kept says " whats in this", i told him hes not allowed to ask me that, and that if he must know, it was a keychain. I mail these for my business this way all the time. Never had a problem before until i moved here. then he got a really bad attitude and started mocking me in front of other customers, and started to refuse my business for no reason at all. He shoved my packages back at me, and told me to leave. I had done nothing wrong, but ask him what his problem was. He told me i put the "Cherry on top of his day", and that I was his problem.... I had done NOTHING wrong! at this point i was furious! he kept mpocking me and taunting me as i filled out my APO form at the back counter, nagging saying out loud while helping other customers, " SEE I can ask HER whats in HER package too" . i couldn't believe it!!! this man was well into his 60's, and completely disrespecting me in front of other people in the post office and embarrassing himself. Yet the others in line were standing up for him. Everyone there was older, and Im assuming because im younger, that I was being profiled because i was younger. What crap! I am calling the post master and making a complaint! i will NEVER visit this place again!!!!!!!
