If you're looking for obedience training, they seem to be qualified. If you're looking for a conscientious, empathetic, caring environment to board your pet, look elsewhere. You will not find that here. Upon picking up my pet, I had to take him immediately to the vet. The vet said that his condition was as close to animal neglect/abuse as you could get.

There is no other place in the bluegrass region that comes close to the care and training the folks at animal resorts give my pets. All of the staff are friendly and they all know me and my dogs by name. I can make reservations on line. I can buy the best dog food for less than Tractor Supply, PetSmart or anywhere in Lexington. MY dogs are so well behaved thanks to their training that I can take them anywhere and I always get compliments. I know that there are negative reviews for the place but I chock those up to the change in ownership and think that personal issues should be kept personal. Check the place out for yourself and you will be amazed

Animal Resorts is a great place to bring your dog! I have had nothing but excellent care and exemplary training. My dog loves to come on Saturdays to the group training classes, and wouldn't miss daycare for the world. They are always having some kind of event for pets and their owners to interact with other people. It's a fun place to get to know and play with your pet!

I boarded my dog at this kennel and my dog got injured both times! The staff did nothing but make excuses on both occassions. I ended up with horrible vet bills not to mention my dogs are petrified of the place and the owner. I have asked around and I have met numerous other people that have had horrible experiences both customers and previous employees. I have heard horror stories of how the owner and his son treat dogs when no one is around. I would definitely recommend finding a safer place for your beloved pet!

I will never take my dog to this kennel again! I kept him there for long term boarding, and when I showed up unexpectedly he was 10lbs under weight, and was in horrible condition. I also learned they let him get into several dog fights! Since this kennel has gone under new management it is simply a horrible place to take a beloved pet.
