Always have great service with these guys! Most honest people you will meet, even charge me less when less work was necessary. Can NOT beat the service, even pick up and drop off my vehicle. Strongly suggest this place
We have taken our cars to Gouty's over the years, and they have seemed pretty decent and the car would get fixed and we wouldn't have any issues. HOWEVER, things have changed. We took our only car there 3 weeks ago after it wouldn't start, and it starts again (sometimes), but it has more issues and is running worse than it ever has. We have taken it back 3 times to fix what is wrong, and every time there is a new issue that costs us more money. We've spent so much money there recently, and the last time they didn't even us ask before they did the "repair". (the quotes are because the car is doing exactly what it did before after the repair but they charged us $200)
We refuse to take our car back even though Gouty's has a guarantee on their work, but what good is a guarantee if you can't stop them from creating new problems and charging you more money for the issues they've created?
Gouty's business model has changed. They have become a shop that is only after making cash and not concerned about the well being of their customers. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.
After picking up my car for a tune up, it reeked of cigarette smoke, and the guys left their nasty butts and a partially smoked Camel in my car's ashtray. I am a pregnant non-smoker, and for them to do that in my car that I drive my kids around in was no only extremely non-professional, but rude!
Not to mention that my vehicle is much louder than it was when I took it in.
This is the second time I have taken a vehicle there, only to have more problems than when I took it in. For the prices they charge, you would think they would at least do the job right, or have better customer service.
Not happy, and I will never take another vehicle to their garage!
