I was under care of Dr. Hodgini for anxiety and depression. I was on Effexor which if you know anything about SSNRIs and those types of medications you cannot go cold turkey. I tried to refill my Rx and walgreens called and Dr. refused to fill Rx saying I needed a health checkup which is fine but they had no appointments for two weeks + out. I had been under her care for several years ( almost 4). People who go cold turkey on these medications have been known to have seizures, headaches, body aches, and at higher risks to hurt themselves/commit suicide. I think this was very very irresponsible of them. I am still deciding whether or not I want to file a complaint with state medical board. I skipped the check up as I am looking for another Dr. obviously.
