Fort Foote Elementary School is a learning center that serves more than 500 students in prekindergarten through sixth grade. It has a staff of over 75 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes reading specialists, physical education instructors, guidance counselors, parent liaisons, psychologists, nurses, media specialists, mentor teachers, special educators, speech and occupational therapists, and art and music professionals. Fort Foote Elementary School is a part of the Prince George's County Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in Maryland and operates nearly 195 educational institutions. The school maintains a parent-teacher association that sponsors educational and social programs that compliment the classroom curriculum. Fort Foote Elementary School is located in Fort Washington, Md.
