My son has been a student at Kuk Sool Won of the River Valley for a year and a half and he absolutely loves it. All of the instructors are great with children. Very patient and excellent at teaching the kids how to be well mannered, good listeners and diciplined. I have noticed a huge improvement in my sons self esteem and confidence. My son loves to attend class and if he were to miss a class due to another sport, he makes sure to make up the class as soon as possible, all because he really wants to be there.

As a college student looking to have fun and get fit, joining Kuk Sool Won of The River Valley, under leadership of an awesome group of trainers, was the best decision I could have made! I love it. And the results from such great teaching are definitely noticeable.

My boys have been taking classes for 3 years and have loved every minute! One son is a DBN and started in the regular curriculum from the start. My youngest started in the Power Cub program and did it for 2 years. He moved to the regular curriculum in January of 2013, and will be testing for his blue belt in November. They have been able to in both their physical and mental conditioning. Master Gray and his staff are wonderful with the boys. If you are looking for a wonderful martial arts program, I would look no further than River Valley Family Martial Arts!!

Master Mike, Jordan and all the instructors are great. They have made me stronger and more confident. It's fun and I like the summer swim party and Christmas party.

When my youngest son mentioned an interest in studying martial arts at Kuk Sool Won of the River Valley, my first thought was how proud I was that he made the choice himself, and my next thought was when am I going to find the time for this? After my son enrolled, I saw subtle changes become demonstrative regarding his self-confidence, his willingness to commit to a program of study requiring physical stamina and endurance, and his sense of accomplishment. As I attended lessons with him, watching him lay a foundation for success and pursue his own goals, watching him make time to attend his classes, I decided to enroll myself. Before I found Kuk Sool Won of the River Valley, I practiced for several years in another martial arts style. I didn't realize what I was missing. Master Gray has been a mentor for me since day one, under his instruction I have not only become faster, stronger and more confident in protecting myself but I have also learned many important lessons about dedication, respect, treating everyone equally and many more too numerous to list. At KSW of the River Valley I found many positive and goal oriented individuals. It is amazing what surrounding yourself with the right people can do for you. The environment at this school is much like that of a family. Through the support of my fellow students and the guidance of Master Gray I stopped spending time with negative influences and began making positive changes in my life. Today I am a first degree Black Belt in KSW and I am continuing my training on to higher levels of Black Belt. Kuk Sool Won of the River Valley has had an extremely positive influence in my life. My son started taking classes at Kuk Sool Won of the River Valley at 6 years of age. At the time, he was small and sometimes easily intimidated and I felt like martial arts would be good for his self-confidence. We got so much more than we bargained for! His self-confidence did get a tremendous boost, but we saw improvement in so many other areas - physical fitness, focus, balance, self-defense, motivation, mental strength, good manners, and self-discipline. After watching him for about a year and a half wishing I had the time to take a class myself, I finally bit the bullet and signed up. I haven't ever regretted it for a single second. My son and I are both black belts! I have been taking classes for about 5 years and plan to continue as long as I am able. In addition to all of the benefits my son received, it's also a great place to come and let the day go - a time to focus on positive things and for improving my mental and physical health. The people in this school have also become like a second family to me and my children. I have the utmost respect for Master Instructor Mike Gray and his family and know that if I ever need anything, they will always do whatever they can to help. Thanks River Valley!

I began Kuk Sool Won nearly 3 years ago, and I've been hooked ever since. KJN Mike Gray and his staff are awesome! They're very thorough with the curriculum, and they keep it fun and engaging. It's obvious from the start that they put a lot of time and effort into training the staff, planning the classes, and keeping the school running smoothly. I'm very grateful for Mike, Robyn, and the KSW team.

Took my daughter there and the instructor worked with her the first time free of charge. I immediately noticed a positive change in her attitude. This has carried over to school and home. Very clean and welcoming environment!!! It is a family environment she has only been a few times and has picked up on it very quickly!!!
