We moved to Spanish Lakes Country Club Village after spending five years aboard our sailboat, primarily in the Caribbean. We were so happy living here that we started to buy another home for extra income. Then we found that the State of Florida requires a person who sells more than one mobile home, to have a broker's license. So, we took the course, bought a $25,000 surety bond, got fingerprinted, checked-out by the State Motor Vehichle Department, and the rest is history. Once local people started seeing what we were doing we immediately received a bunch of listings, as we advertise much more aggressively than most of our competitors. We still buy and sell ourselves, but the brokerage side of the business has become much larger.
