I am a female and I went there to check the place out and maybe buy a rifle. Found one, used one, seems good, we checked review on it and it was good it was RAS AK. Then I took a friend to go with me, drive me there and just felt better to go with a man then by myself. Also I am not too familiar with that stuff as he is. What I wanted to buy that day was sold ! So I got me different rifle but when I was going to fill out an application, they asked my friend to fill out also. I asked why, it was going to be my rifle, not his! They insist that he has to fill it out too. We both have concealed carry cards and are members of NRA. It was that they would not let me buy it without him fill out an application also, so he did do it, we have nothing to hide. In my eyes, they treated us like some kind of criminals, we both are 71, we both have already several weapons and never had any problem to buy at other places. And he never had to fill out an application at other places. So I got my rifle, but believe me, it totay ruined my pleasure shop there and I would never step in that place again ! I had a plan to go there next day as it was women"s day, but changed my mind after that experience I had there. I was wondering, was it discrimination of female buyer? If I was with him and he was buying a gun there would I be forced to fill out an application also?

Place is totally unimpressive. the range is congested and many times you have to wait to get a lane. The guns they sell are significantly overpriced, and they did low ball me on a trade price. Buyer beware that you will not get a good deal there. You WILL overpay when you try to buy a gun there simply because of their name! I ended up going to fowler and got great service and a good deal. Can't wait for the Cape coral range to open!!

I have purchased 3 firearms from these people. Every time I have been there, the staff has been courteous, patient and very knowledgable. I feel that I have received very good deals on all three guns I bought here, as I do my homework before making a purchase. The range on site is very user friendly, and clean! I have been to many ranges and this one by far is my favorite! I would recommend this business for anyone who us in the market for a firearm or info on the sport as a whole! I took their concealed weapons course last month as well, and was very happy with the class! The instructor was very knowledgeable, and not in a hurry to finish the class. He answered everyone's questions and even let us shoot 5 rounds on the range, even though he was only required to have us shoot one .

When moving to the area, I was really concerned about finding a great place to shoot. Shoot Straight has well exceeded any expectations I had for a store and range serving the public. I shoot at their air conditioned range using my own ammo about once a month. I've never purchased a firearm there, so can't comment on their sales staff. They certainly have an incredible selection of firearms, though, and my kids always enjoy the mounted animal heads and atmosphere. We take a large group there on a regular basis from an AR-15 enthusiast site, and the store management and range staff have always been incredible accommodating. If you're looking for a safe air conditioned indoor range where you can take your family and friends - Shoot Straight is what you're looking for!

Folks, this stores owner obviously puts profit and money way above client satisfaction or any level of client service. I pre-paid for a CWC class ($75) and set a date.. Unfortunate, I had an accident that required surgery and missed the appointment. Do you think they would allow me to reschedule? Not a chance at this store.. They had my money and said it was forfeited.. I would have to pay another $75 and reschedule. When I asked why would you do that to a loyal customer.. their answer was "we have to protect the class.. You took a seat we could have sold to someone else" Do you believe their classes are a sellout everytime they hold them? I can tell you from my family that have gone thru them they have never been a sellout.



I, my two brothers, 4 nephews and 22 other family members traded at their store.. Not anymore. That $75 rip off policy cost them several thousands in future sales..

Fowler Firearms and Gun Range offers a concealed weapon class every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 6:30 p.m. every Saturday at 5:00pm, and every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Cost $69.95 + tax per person and takes about and hour. These are walk in classes, no appointment required.



Obviously, Shoot Straight didn't on this customer.. Incredibly arrogant and not customer friendly or focused.. I have been in business in Lee and Collier for over 40 years..with over 30 employees.. I couldn't even imagine having this kind of northeast attitude in such a small town.. Shame on you Shoot Straight.

The staff is very rude, although there is one or two nice ones. First time I went there to shoot I had one employ take my gun out of my gun bag while I was filling out paper work without asking me first. Really didn't like that. Another time I was in the shop and a kid behind the counter tried to convince my that Hi-Point firearms are great and that I should buy one of their carbines instead of an AR15. Then when i disagreed he was very rude. Also their prices are very high for both ammo and guns. Id avoid it if I could but there are not a lot of ranges close to my home.

Sunday I purchased a ruger .308 rifle and a nikon prostaff 4-12 scope... they claimed they were too busy to mount the scope although it is only a five minute process... also strange since I have bought two much more expensive guns from them and sold a glock back as well.. since I live close I took the gun home to mount the scope and came right back... on the range the gun would not chamber... I understand this is not their issue, but the manufactuer... however it is how the issue has been dealt with. I left the gun plus mounted scope with them, was promised a call, none came. Went back in on monday and joe seemed annoyed that he wad being troubled with the issue. Again was promised again, still none yet. So they have my 685.00 dollars and my gun. Joe tried to sell me down to a .270 monday, but if I wanted that I would have bought it from the get go. Comunication and attitude over the issue is horrible, especially since half the people that work there recognize us every time we come in.

I have been a member for about 2 year now and my wife and I have gone to their range a quite few times. I do have some issues with their customer service. For one thing, they don’t let you field strip (take apart) any firearms you are about to buy. I think all people, especially gun enthusiast, like to know what exactly their money is buying. Secondly, they don’t repair, nor have repair parts for your firearms. So, good luck if you have any issues. Also, when in the firing range, which you sign a waiver for, you’re not allowed to pull from your holster. You would think practicing to use you pistol was the point of going to the range. But most of all, they don’t care if you have $5,000 worth of merchandise on the counter, when it is 10 minutes until 9 pm; they push you out of the store. Unless they have a firearm you can’t find anywhere else, I’d spend my money elsewhere.

Iﾒve been a member since the store opened. Great place to shoot and the way the store is laid out and stocked, it makes it easy to find anything you might need. All the staff is both helpful and knowledgeable and that's a plus. The icing on the cake would be to win one of their gun prize drawings at one of the Big Sales... :-) Anyhow, I am one satisfied customer....

We have a family membership, and come often to the Ft. Myers gun range. On this visit, our daughter came with us for the first time. An employee, Josh C. was not only efficient in getting all of us checked in, but he also made our daughter feel at ease about shooting a weapon for the first time. We appreciated the good customer service, and we look forward to continuing to be loyal customers of Shoot Straight.
