I do not recommend going to Mirinka for permanent make-up. She ruined my eyebrows. I asked her to give me a soft, natural look and not dark. She did the exact opposite! They look as though they've been drawn on by a black sharpie marker. So fake and way too big!

Actually, the entire experience was just awful. After discussing my eyebrows with Mirinka, she left the room. Then the receptionist, Pierre came in and proceeded to numb my brow area with novocaine, (which contained epinephrine) using a needle. I had a bad reaction which caused my heart to start racing and I began to shake all over. I was very scared. At this point, I should have walked out! I don't even know if this is legal, as it was the receptionist who did the injection.

It has been seven weeks now, and I have since consulted with three different make-up artists. They all agree my eyebrows look terrible. They also agree that using a shot of novocaine to numb the area is completely unnecessary! Luckily, I have chosen someone who will begin the correction process. She will first have to remove the part that is beyond my natural brow line and then she will correct the color. And, she uses numbing cream, not a shot! This is a process and will take several visits.

In summary, I would like to say, if you are considering permanent make-up, do your research. There are artists who use the newest machines, products, techniques and actually listen to their clients, unlike Mirinka. Also ask to see pictures of their work. I had to learn the hard way. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MIRINKA TO ANYONE!
