My mother is in Evangelical Home of Port Huron. She seems happy there and the home has a very good record of compliance with the law. The workers seem genuinely interested in her welfare and will frequently stop by just to chat with her, demands of others willing. They also have many scheduled activities, outings, and pleasant grounds. I know that some wonder how anyone could let a parent stay in a nursing home. Easy, if both of you are still working, it is impossible to give some people the kind of around the clock care they need at home and my mother was doing things where she would get hurt. I don't have to worry about that now as Evangelical Home CAN provide around-the-clock care and they do it well and with compassion.
