East Arkansas Video is horrible!!!!

I will start this by saying I have done business with this company for 6 years. Customer service has never been great, but that is hard to come by these days. So, I called my payment in as I do every month, not thinking anything of it. Later, that day I checked my account balance and they had taken almost $200.00 more than authorized from my account. I called and was told there was a mistake and they had cancelled that payment by this time my bank had already put this money on hold. So, I called my bank and the lady told me all she had to have was an approval code and a merchant number and they would release the funds. Ok, so I called East Arkansas Video was put on hold for 25 min only for the very rude lady to come on he phone saying she didnt have either of those. At this time I have to wait 48 hrs for my bank to release these funds all because someone doesnt know how to do their job!! During all this I was told several time this was my fault. So, I am cancelling my service and would advise other to be very cautious when using this company!!!!

customer service nightmare

I recently had a run-in with east arkansas video. It seems that i was told something by their main headquarters in Little Rock and was told to inquire about it at their Forrest City location. What I got when I inquired about it in Forrest City was pure rudeness. The so-called office manager, Belinda, called me a liar by saying everything I said was ""not true"" and that the people in Little Rock did not tell me that because it was ""untrue"". She eventually got frustrated when I did not leave with their simple answers of no, this is not how it is here. I was still upset and wanted to know why the main office would have told me this. She eventually raised her voice at me and told me she would get back to me. When I asked her secretary,the person she referred to when mixing up words that she said I said to confirm her accusations, what I should do, I merely got a hand in my face that cut me off mid-sentence. I will say that I was at least 10 feet away from the hand, but the last time I checked customers were not treated this way. What happened to the customer is always right? In the end she was the one that wound up talking to the main office and relaying ""untrue"" things regarding what had actually happened. SO for any of you thinking about getting cable, I would definately stick with satellite, and my local phone company for internet service, if possible. It will be well worth it to not have to deal with the idiots working for this company.
