I had a blocked line leading to the sewer system, and my basement was flooded. Called Roto Rooter and they sent someone immediately. The service tech was polite, professional and efficient. He did his work quickly and cleaned up. He also gave me tips on keeping the drain running freely. Great company!

STAY AWAY: I called them to find out why my unfinished basement smells bad and also to determine if there is any clogs in the main... They came in , put a camera in main and that was supposed to "run from basement to all the way to the sewer line." per the technician. After 30 mins, I was told we are actually connected to septic. That cost me $250. The technician spent almost 2 hours to find where my septic was. They offered another camera check service for other restroom, dye testing, another $220. They called their so-called supervisor. Of course, this is a show. They spend the entire day at your home, look busy, call supervisors, give you impression they are there for you. Keep charging right and left. The whole 6-hour long $500 work was pointless and for no reason. A dye testing for $220!!!!! At the end of the day, they put a cover on my drain for $50 without even asking me. Since I was not at home, they took advantage of my wife not knowing what I was not informed about. Today, I called them about the outcome, after 2 days not hearing back about a solution. They won't call you because they got their daily need of $550!!!! Now they are asking for $2800 to dig. REALLY? That is the cost for replacing a septic and remember, this is still diagnosis.

Had a GREAT service guy, Duke. There was no extra charge for the weekend and gave me a free quote once he arrived. It was nice to be able to call and get someone out as soon as possible. He was on time with my time window and didn't take long to fix my clogged sink. I would DEFINITELY refer Roto-Rooter for your clogging problems. I even got a 6 month guarantee

This I the first review I have ever given on a company . I feel it is important to let everyone know what a wonderful company Roto-Rooter is in Lynchburg. I placed a call to Roto-Rooter today because my kitchen faucet would not turn on. When the tech arrived he diagnosed the problem instantly. I had a bad valve under the sink. It took the tech about 30 minutes to fix the problem. He even cleaned and reorganized under my sink . I will only use Roto-Rooter from now on. They are very professional unlike some companies I have had in the past .

I called Roto rooter of Atlanta and the wonderful Rahmel Willis came to my rescue. He arrived in a timely fashion and was very courteous and professional. He cleared my drain and even gave me a senior discount, I am truly grateful for him.

I called Roto Rooter for noises in the pipes in the house. This was such a strange issue! It literally kept us up at night. I was expecting that they would have to go into the walls in order to figure out the problem. I also figured it would take several days to fix. Thankfully that was not the case. A friendly gentleman by the name of Rahmel Willis was on the job and he arrived on time. Rahmel was able to diagnose and fix the issue. I am grateful for the time he took. He didn't give up. I am located in Waldorf, MD. I contacted Roto Rooters this morning in regards to my kitchen sink being clogged and overflowing. Not only did I receive same day service, but the technician was excellent. Van Nghaka was very professional! I would recommend this company to family and friends. Brian Morales

I had standing water in the kitchen sink and the bathtub. The tech.arrived at the promised time. That, is the only positive thing I can of my exp. from there, it was a downhill tumble. Tech. was unfriendly and began with his high pressured delivery. Stating that it would cost 365.00 just to clear the drain with the snake. Then claiming that he would have to remove the toilet, $500.00+. I then asked if he could use the snake w/o removal, his answer was no! When I told him I could not afford the cost of removal. After a few minutes he claimed that he could use the snake or auger on the toilet. I asked him why he could now use the snake to clear the toilet for an extra 189.00 and not more than 10min. ago, the price was an additional $500.00+. I should be pleased at the reduction, but the point is his attempt to boost the price for something he knew wasn't needed. Maybe this is common, so I offer this review as a cautionary. Find an honest plumber before a problem occurs. Customer beware!

I've had Roto-rooter technicians come to our home multiple times.They get us on the schedule quickly. They are professional, friendly and efficient. On one service, the technician, Patrick, worked late into the night to get tub/faucet changed.Most recently, he installed a new toilet in record time. We will always call Roto-rooter for plumbing repairs.They've made me an extremely happy,satisfied customer.
