The mechanics at Express Oil Change in Foley, Alabama have done excellent work on my car. Chuck has been especially helpful. He has charged my air conditioner, repaired a wheel bearing (after another mechanic, at Express Oil, incorrectly said I had transmission problems), engine belt, and fuel injectors. On 11/25/09 however, I received an estimate from Express Oil to repair my brake booster. I was told the part would cost $185.99. I did not feel comfortable with that price. Therefore, I called several local auto parts stores. All of them had the brake booster for the cost of no more than $85.49. I was disappointed that Express Oil marked up the price $100.00. I wonder now how much more I have over-paid for parts for my car with Express Oil (Foley) in the past. The total estimate to repair my brake booster by Express Oil was $309.86. I bought the part myself for $85.49 and a mechanic put it on for the total cost of $175.00 (including booster). I saved $134.86. Beware of Express Oil.
