Finally got the freezer section repaired after six visits by different service people. The last one was efficient knew exactly what the problem was and had it fixed in an hour. I was impressed with him when I was frustrated and ready to demand they replace the whole refrigerator. The only thing I can say is why did it take so long?

The technician was professional, knowledgeable and quick.
I felt comfortable with his assessment. I was very pleased with the service.

1. Problem: Washing machine not draining; called Sears Repair Services; given an appointment with a Technician
2. First appoint.: Technician #1 arrived and completed diagnostic; tech did not have part with him; tech ordered part
3. Second appoint.: Technician #2 arrived to install ordered part; wrong part ordered by tech #1; tech #2 attempts to install refurbished right part he has on his repair van; tech #2's part is bad; tech #2 orders new replacement part; sets up new appointment
4. Third appoint.: Technician #3 arrived to install delivered part; delivered part was refurbished part, brand new as ordered; part was defective; tech #3 orders new replacement part; sets up appointment
5. Fourth appoint.: Technician #4 arrived to install delivered part; part installed; tech #4 says washing machine is fixed; hour after tech #4 leaves, homeowner attempts to wash laundry; machine shuts down within a minute; machine not fixed/working
6. Homeowner want refund on all labor and parts

I own a Kenmore Elite refrigerator. It was very expensive. It is 5 years old and within warranty for the cooling system. I first called for service on June 8th. It is now August 5th and my refrigerator is still not fixed. You wait 10 days to two weeks between appointments. They have to order parts and wait again. The fix doesn't work. They come back, diagnose and order parts, then come back 10 days later to fix. I called last Friday July 29th and I was livid. We're up to 8 weeks now. They said someone would call within 24-48 hours. I was lied to. I finally got an appointment yesterday after going through about 3 people and explaining my situation over and over. That guy didn't show but he did call and we chatted. He's just as frustrated as me and overbooked every day. So I called back - went through 3-4 more people and got an appointment today at noon. Still not fixed. 8 weeks. NO MORE SEARS. EVER. FOR ANYTHING. EVER.

so, so disappointing. Had a service tech there on the 21st for my whirlpool front load washer, i had already done diagnostics and told them when booking what the problem was, the rep came and put the front back on and said it was fixed. I ran the laundry two days later and the same problem. called for service, waited 45 minutes to finally get someone to tell me that they would send a rep out that day(they first told me i had to wait four more days). Waited 5 hours at home for the rep to appear, no call, no one came. Called again and was told 5 more days now. Had to call whirlpool to get someone else and have not received a response to my requests for refund of the first service call charge. always used Sears before, never again.....

I have a warranty on my dishwasher from Sears. As part of the yearly warranty, it provides for a "tune up/check up" of the Whirlpool dishwasher. That's what the Sears guy did.. He was courteous, answered my questions, and dressed appropriately. He also didn't have any weird piercings, or tattoos that I don't want around my kids. I normally don't even buy the warranties, but he did such a good job answering my questions I think I will keep the warranty!

We bought our grill four years ago. It has been kept in the garage out of the weather. We were told that burner supports were rusted and not covered. I was told that propane is mostly water and more than likely caused the rust. The previous year was also a repair. We have had two repairs in 4 years. We have always used Kenmore products and been very pleased; however, we are not pleased in the longevity of the Kenmore grill. I don't recommend purchasing one nor taking out the extended warranty as rust is not covered, even if the rust is caused by the propane, and not weather related.

They have been out on the same fix 3 times & this next will be the 4th. Although they are very friendly, courteous, & professional they have had issues fixing this problem. Our ice maker was making soft ice & dispensing water, first fix didn’t help, second made the ice more solid, & third reduced getting shot of water with ice from every time to 3 out of 5 times you get water from the ice dispenser. I will call again.

I use my washer every day, so when it isn't working, life is not good. The service man arrived when he said he would, which was just a matter of two days after my call. He was very polite and considerate. After diagnosing the problem, he checked local parts stores, found the part he needed, and returned to fix the machine the same day. It is working fine now and I am so grateful that I did not have to go weeks without a washer while waiting for a part. Way to go Sears!

I am very happy. When your washer goes out you seem lost. The gentleman was very helpful, made suggestions, told me about things Sears offers. I work 2 jobs so hard to get the time I needed so happy they make time for you . My washer is now running and I am very happy and will use Sears again. Yes I will tell Friends about the great work.

While we've experienced ongoing problems/breakdowns with Samsun products the recent cry for help was attributed to a broken dryer drum. Hit during the Christmas Holidays. :-(



Thank God for the extended agreements to cover ongoing problems/break-downs with both Samsung products...the last problem was attributed to a broken dryer drum.

Interested in knowing at what point Samsun will replace our units instead of spending thousands on repairs...

On Tuesday, Dec 22nd our Samsung dryer was not heating, I contacted Sears At Home and was surprised they would send a technician on Christmas Eve, he showed up on time and had part in truck so was able to complete the job in one short visit, great job, extended warranty worth it.
