I have lived here for over 4 yrs and I love it here.

It's not bad here. The apartments are nice looking and the property manager is very nice and willing to work with the tenants. Many tenants have an issue with the maintenance man, though.

Do not live here unless your only other option is homelessness! Your kids will have no where to play. There are a few elderly ladies that watch your every move. Especially the one next to the office. Grills and wheeled toys are not allowed. Maintenance is nonexistant. You can put in order after order only to be told you know Gene (owner) doesn't like to spend money. My carpet was more than 10 years old and multiple shampooings did not help. The only room with fresh paint upon move in was the kitchen. Cabinet fronts would fall off revealing LONG rusty nails. My neighbors walls had horrble water damage. I was given an eviction notice because I didn't want to renew another year long lease THEN I got charged $315 for cleaning and light bulbs??? Plus they kept my $497 deposit! Unreal! Not to mention management is constantly fired and no one is ever in the office.

MANY of the tenants have moved out due to a major lack of maintenance. Lots of open apts right now. My toddler opened a kitchen drawer and the front fell off. 8-10 long rusty nails were sticking out. An effort to fix the drawer? The carpets are at least 10 years old and DISGUSTING. Children are not allowed to play out front which is a sidewalk and parking lot. Toys w/wheels aren't allowed on the property. This place is a dump but due to rentals being sparse in Flatwoods and a price around $500, I got stuck here.
