- Teeth CleaningThe American Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular check-ups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
- VeneersYour mouth is scanned with a radiation-free laser and, in as little as two to three minutes, the laser renders a digitally perfect, 3D impression of your teeth and soft tissue structures. Through digital software, you'll then be able to follow the progress of the scans, including a 3D model of your teeth on our computer screen. The iTero scanner can be used for any restorative treatment including crowns, veneers, inlays/onlays, bridges, and implants, as well as orthodontic treatments like Invisalign®.
- CrownsDr. Hsu was drawn to periodontology and surgery instinctively due to her detail-oriented and esthetically driven nature. This manifests in her penchant for delicate procedures such as gingival augmentation, aesthetic crown lengthening, and sinus augmentations where the minute surgical finesse differentiates itself in accelerated patient healing and positive treatment outcomes.

- Deep CleaningThe treatment of gum disease can take many forms including deep scaling and root planning, pocket reduction surgery and laser assisted options.
- DenturesDental Implants are permanent replacement tooth roots. Patients may benefit from the placement of a single implant or up to twenty-eight implants to replace all of their missing teeth. Often times a combination of implants and dentures or implants and bridges may also be suitable to replace teeth for patients missing one, two or all of their teeth. Dr. Thomas Kang, Dr. Kevin Suzuki, Dr. Allen Liu, Dr. Jessica Hsu, Dr. Jenna Cha, Dr. Gretchen Stern and Dr. Ehsan Zahedi are experts in the field of dental implants. All have been selected as “Top Dentists” for the Periodontal and Dental Implant categories in the field of dentistry.

- Dental ImplantsThe dental implant field has expanded rapidly in the last fifteen years. With this growth many implant systems (companies) have also been started to take advantage of this growing market. After careful evaluation of all of the dental implant systems available Dr. Thomas Kang, Dr. Kevin Suzuki, Dr. Allen Liu, Dr. Jessica Hsu, Dr. Jenna Cha, Dr. Gretchen Stern and Dr. Ehsan Zahedi have agreed that the Nobel Biocare Dental Implant Systems are the best researched, most studied, and most predictable for their patients.
- Oral SurgeryRyan brings six years of experience in the dental field, with most of that time working in the Periodontal and Oral Surgery specialty fields. This follows over a decade in Retail Management, where he worked with companies from Wilsons Leather to Bartell Drugs. Ryan’s focus is ensuring that every patient’s experience is as positive and comfortable as possible and that all people are treated fairly, compassionately, and with respect. When not at work you can find Ryan either cooking along with the Food Network in the background or planning his next visit to Puerto Vallarta.
- Tooth Extractions
- Bone GraftingPatients that have previously been told that they are not candidates for implant surgery should know that there are now many options for the augmentation of bone that DO NOT rely on bone being taken from other parts of the jaw or from the hip. Bone regeneration and bone grafting can now conservatively be completed using various forms of allografts (donated bone) and bone morphogenetic protein infused grafts. Bone Morphogenetic Proteins (BMP) are a family of proteins that are expressed throughout life in all our body systems. When used in conjunction with bone grafting procedures these BMP's help recruit bone producing cells to the areas where augmentation is required. These are comfortable outpatient procedures that have less morbidity and discomfort associated with them than traditional forms of more invasive grafting.
- OrthodonticsOrthodontics, like many dental specialties, is evolving to allow patients to have greater flexibility in choosing the treatment plan that is appropriate for them. Adjunct procedures completed by Dr. Thomas Kang, Dr. Kevin Suzuki, Dr. Allen Liu, Dr. Jessica Hsu, Dr. Jenna Cha, Dr. Gretchen Stern and Dr. Ehsan Zahedi help to allow their orthodontic treatment partners to achieve ideal results in a more predictable and efficient manner.
- Invisalign Orthodontics
- Cosmetic DentistryPeriodontal Plastic Surgery (PPS) is a subspecialty of Periodontics that Dr. Thomas Kang, Dr. Kevin Suzuki, Dr. Allen Liu, Dr. Jessica Hsu, Dr. Jenna Cha, Dr. Gretchen Stern and Dr. Ehsan Zahedi have an interest and advanced training in. PPS is useful for patients that are considering other forms of cosmetic dentistry or may be unhappy with the way their smile looks because of excess gum tissue or a reduction in the amount of gum around the teeth. A “gummy smile” is one where during normal development full exposure of the tooth did not occur. As a result teeth may appear “too short” for a patient’s smile.
